Amazon India Fashion Week: 11th October to 15th October 2017

Following international brands like Tom Ford and Burberry India is soon expected to see its first ‘See Now, Buy Now’ runaway finale. Amazon Fashion has joined hands with the grand finale designers of Amazon India Fashion Week (AIFW) and is all set to bring in directly ready-to-wear apparel lines from the finale designers to consumers. The grand finale of AIFW would feature designers like Rina Dhaka, Rahul Khanna, Pankaj and Nidhi, Krishna Mehta and many others.

Each designer is expected to present a capsule collection of their best six ensembles. With the festive season right here the designers believe that the ‘See Now, Buy Now’ concept will make India a part of the global fashion scene. Even the tier 2 and tier 3 cities which do not have exclusive stores of these designers would be able to easily access these designs with the help of Amazon India. Here is a list of some major designers and their designs that will hit the ramp on 15th October at the Amazon India Fashion Week:
 

Pankaj and Nidhi

Pankaj and Nidhi one of the most renowned designers and youth icons will be a strong contender for AIFW. The will be putting on display their festive prêt collection, along with their signature appliqué motifs combined with new colour palette. Wearable like jumpsuits, asymmetrical hemlines and shirt jackets would be showcased during the event.

Krishna Mehta

Krishna this time at the AIFW has come up with something new. His new collection is focused on younger women, and pocket friendly apparels. Apart from these special occasion wear like lehangas, jackets, draped pants, bolero jackets and much more will be available for the consumers of Amazon instantly from Krishna Capsule Collection.

Suneet Varma, Rina Dhaka, Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna

Well famed designers Suneet Varma, Rina Dhaka, Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna have teamed up to combine pret and couture together on the ramp for the grand finale of AIFW.

Fashion designer Rohit Gandhi would also showcase his latest collection at the Amazon India Fashion Week. The collection would all be about a mix of grandeur and contemporary edginess.

Many other designers would also be coming up with their unique and stylish designs at the Amazon India Fashion Week. Arun Sirdeshmukh, business head of Amazon Fashion said, “It’s a transformative time for the fashion industry as we leverage technology to offer India’s first instantly shoppable runway at the finale.” He further added, “Our See Now, Buy Now initiative allows us to shrink the gap between the experience designers create on the runway and when consumers get to explore these collections themselves. The ready-to-wear lines will be instantly available to order straight from the ramp and is part of our move to make designer wear affordable, available and accessible with the launch of The Designer Boutique at Amazon.in.”

The new designer boutique at Amazon.in provides stage to about 50 designers from all over the country. Best of their collections would be available at this store.
