2nd India Vs South Africa Test Match Preview : A wounded Indian Side Is Back For The Revenge at Centurion

The Indian side after losing their first game of the three-match test series against the Proteas made their stint clear of coming with a more lethal and positive approach in the training ground at the Supersport Park, Centurion. Centurion's track is greener than ever and seems to be a bigger challenge than the first test for the Virat Kohli led side, and the Indian side seems to be concerned with short ball strategy of the Proteas. The biggies Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Cheteswar Pujara were all spotted at the nets facing the short balls, whereas Kl Rahul was spotted facing the nets and is quite surely replacing Shikhar Dhawan for the second test. South Africa on the other hand also struggled in the batting department and are not going to take the Indian side lightly.

South African Team Strategies :

A bit of changes are expected in both the sides that played against each other at Newlands, however the biggest issue for the Proteas is Dale Steyn as the lethal pacer is out of the series after an injury. Two pacers Lungi Ngidi(Uncapped) and Duanne Olivier(leading wicket-taker of last Sunfoil Series) have been included in the squad for the second test and one of them is believed to make it in the starting 11. Chris Morris can prove to be a good addition to both the departments of batting and bowling.

Indian team Strategies :

Shikhar Dhawan seems to be the biggest concern for the Indian side as the opener failed to prove in both the innings, KL Rahul is believed to be the possible replacement for the left-hander. Ajinkya Rahane's rejection in the first test has raised many eyebrows as the batsmen has impressive away record and he can bag a spot above Rohit Sharma in the second test, while the experienced duo of Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav can be tried in the Centurion test.
