Oben Electric Launches 10 New Showrooms, Expands Reach Across 7 States

Marking Republic Day, Oben Electric, an Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer, has launched 10 new showrooms and service centers across the country. With this addition, Oben now operates 22 showrooms and service centers, covering 14 cities and 7 states, reaching an estimated 53 million people.

The new showrooms are located in Shivajinagar and Dhanakawadi (Pune), Hubballi (Karnataka), Malappuram and Thrissur (Kerala), Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Lucknow, Mainpuri, Budaun (Uttar Pradesh), and Adhichini (New Delhi). This expansion marks Oben's entry into Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and strengthens its presence in Karnataka, Kerala, and Maharashtra.

According to the company, the expansion aligns with its plan to establish a wider presence in both urban and Tier-2 cities, with a target of 100 new showrooms and service centers in 50 cities by FY26.

The company claims to design, develop, and manufacture all critical components, including LFP batteries, motors, chargers, and vehicle control units, in-house. Oben products are said to be tailored for Indian conditions.

Oben Electric recently launched the Oben Rorr EZ, priced at INR 89,999, which, according to the company, features a top speed of 95 km/h, a range of up to 175 km (IDC), and an acceleration of 0-40 km/h in 3.3 seconds. The company also offers its flagship Oben Rorr model.
