Water Heater Buying Guide: How to Pick the Right Geyser for Your Home

Some important things to keep in mind are:

• Type and Capacity: Instant water heaters (1 litre - 3 litres) are ideal for use in kitchens or for taking showers quickly. Storage water heaters (capacity 10 litres for two people and 15 litres - 25 litres for four or more) would work best in homes with more users.

• Water Quality/Tank Coating: Hard water is very damaging to heating elements. Always go for a tank with Brittle and Titanium Armor Coating and with an anode rod to prevent rusting and accumulation of scale.

• High Rise Use: In case you live in a high rise building, ensure that your geyser has the capacity to sustain high water pressure.
