The official trailer for the upcoming film 2023 Thank You for Coming has been released and the movie stars Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila and Shibani Bedi in the lead roles. The movie also features another set of a talented ensemble cast that includes Pradhuman Singh Mall, Sushant Divgikar, Anil Kapoor, Dolly Ahluwalia, Karan Kundrra, Natasha Rastogi and Gautmik Saloni Daini in the pivotal roles.

The chick-flick, Thank You for Coming movie is helmed by Rhea Kapoor's husband, Karan Boolani, and the screenplay is penned by Radhika Anand and Prashasti Singh. The movie is produced by renowned banners Ektaa Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms Limited and Anil Kapoor Film Communication Network Pvt Ltd.

Producer Rhea Kapoor had earlier said, “Even with its unconventional storyline and bold point of view, this movie is an out-and-out Bollywood entertainer, full of masti and music so it makes this selection that much sweeter. It is a film I am extremely proud of and we couldn't have asked for a better kick-start. I've had the privilege to work with the most talented group of girls that have put their heart and soul into making this movie and we cannot wait for the world to see what we have made.”

Director Karan Boolani shared his thoughts, saying, “I've been fortunate to be surrounded by incredible women throughout my life, and I'm extremely proud to have directed this film. As a man, Thank you for coming has taught me so much about the female experience around desire, love and acceptance. I hope that the audiences have as much fun watching the film as we had making it.”

At the trailer launch, she Rhea Kapoor expressed her excitement and shared - “I feel privileged and lucky that I have been able to go against all odds to make these films for amazing girls around the world. My only hope is that this becomes a norm, and one doesn't have to be lucky anymore. Thank You For Coming is a film that's poured out of my heart. It is inspired by every single girl around me. A lot of people I love are in this film in spirit. I really hope that the message of the film resonates with everyone while entertaining and delighting them."

The trailer kicks off with Kanika Kapoor (Bhumi Pednekar) who is seen celebrating her 30th birthday and reflecting on her grapple with not being able to experience pleasure despite being in a relationship. The trailer tagline reads, ‘Fairytales jhooth hai, love jhooth hai, orgasm jhooth hai.', which pretty much sums up the laughing riot. Thank You For Coming trailer showcases Kanika's quest to find both the fairytale romance and pleasure. During all this, her girl gang is providing her with all the support that also involves hilarious interactions with Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly Singh, and Shibani Bedi which adds a dash of comedy to the film.

Thank You For Coming movie is scheduled to release on September 7th 2023.
