The Great Indian Family is an upcoming Bollywood movie that is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, and produced by Aditya Chopra. The comedy-flick stars Vicky Kaushal and Manushi Chhillar in the lead roles. The movie also features Manoj Pahwa, Srishti Dixit, Kumud Mishra, Sadiya Siddiqui, Bhuvan Arora, Ashutosh Ujjwal, Alka Amin and Bharti Perwani in pivotal roles. The Great Indian Family release date is scheduled to be September 22nd 2023. Shilpa Shetty Kundra starer "Sukhee" is also sharing the same release date.

Bhajan Kumar aka Ved Vyas Tripathi (Vicky Kaushal), who happens to be a devotional singer in Balrampur, describes himself as the "undisputed king of bhajans" who has a super traditional family. Manushi Chhillar is seen as Bhajan Kumar's crush or love interest. Post-dance montage, when Bhajan Kumar reads out a letter that claims he is Muslim by birth. that's when twist of fate happens Kumar's conservative Hindu family decides to disown him themselves. Bhajan then strives to find his true identity without compromising to win his love and the acceptance of his family. That will be interesting to see how Bhajan Kumar reunites with his distanced family or will be able to win his love or no.
