- Getting the rate of your heartbeat up: Try jogging in one place or jumping jacks, burpees, push-ups or squats, as again, the movement will help the blood and endorphins flowing for the reenergising rush of oxygen to help your body and mind relax.
- Stretch it out: Whether you are on the go or putting up anywhere, stretching can help a lot in relaxing the mind and body.
Treat your body well:
- Massage: Give a good massage on your scalp, on your hands and legs. A study shows that a five-minute good massage can help you relieve stress and anxiety and can help you calm your mind.
- Roll a ball: There's nothing more relaxing than rolling a ball under your arches and while you are at it, stop only to apply more pressure when you find a tender spot.
- Take the help of a stress ball: Well, some times it's okay to be angry, however, what's not okay is to keep that anger inside. Take your frustration out on a stress ball. Also, it's safer to take your frustration out on a stress ball than throwing away your phone or laptop.
