Exercises For Beginners

You can convert water bottles into dumbells or your kids school bag into a kettle bell.
Simple Exercises For Beginners
1. Chair Squats :
You can begin with squatting on a chair if you are a beginner, as trying the squat position on your own could lead to pain on knees or strain your neck. Begin with doing some sets of this chair squat and you will know how much you can stretch and then decide for yourself.
2. Stairs :
Stepping up and down on stairs in a fast pace is a great leg strengthening exercise. This exercise serves as a great cardio workout and builds your glutes and leg strength. You can choose to climb up and down the stairs for a couple of floors to begin with and then raise the bar accordingly.
3. Wall Push ups:
Stand against the wall in a diagonal posture with your hands against the wall now push up and down against the wall and feel the pressure on your arms, shoulder and shoulder blades.
4. Dumbell Step Ups :
Using 1 litre filled water bottles in each of your hands you can step up on to a couch with one leg at a time and then step down. You can add more weight to your hands if you want to advance to a higher level.
5. Calf Raises :
With weights on your shoulder, you can begin with calf raises to tone and strengthen your calf muscles. Calves are the second brain of a human body and it's important for these muscles to pump blood upwards.
6. Planks :
Plank works on your abdomen muscles, glutes and arm strength. You can begin with simple front planks and move to side planks. If you would like to move another level up you can try the single arm plank.
