Truecaller for Web: Search, Text, and Get Call Alerts on Your PC!

Truecaller, the globally renowned platform for contact verification and blocking unwanted communication, has introduced Truecaller for Web, marking a significant enhancement in its service offerings. This latest feature empowers users with the ability to seamlessly search for unknown numbers and access their Truecaller SMS inbox directly through their web browser, thereby augmenting convenience and security.

Initially available exclusively for Android users, Truecaller for Web is compatible with all modern web browsers across both PC and Mac platforms. Its integration is designed for ease of use, enabling users to view, send, and receive SMS and Truecaller Chat messages without the need to constantly switch between devices. By facilitating access to messages via a web interface, Truecaller aims to streamline user workflows and provide an intuitive experience.

Key features of Truecaller for Web include the ability to type out messages using a computer keyboard, attach multiple files of up to 100 MB, and mark messages as urgent using Truecaller's Urgent Messages feature. Additionally, the platform delivers real-time call alert notifications for incoming calls and messages, ensuring that users remain connected and informed at all times.

Rishit Jhunjhunwala, Chief Product Officer and Managing Director India at Truecaller, emphasized the company's commitment to elevating the communication experience while prioritizing accessibility and safety. Jhunjhunwala highlighted that Truecaller does not access or read any messages, and the connection between the mobile app and desktop client is encrypted, reinforcing user privacy and security.

To enable Truecaller for Web, Android users can access the feature by tapping on the Messages tab within the Truecaller app, selecting Messaging for Web from the menu, or by visiting the web.truecaller.com website and following the on-screen instructions.
