Home Remedies Involving Glycerin For A Healthy Skin

Moisturising Packs

• Add two tablespoons of fresh lemon juice to 250ml glycerin and apply the mixture on the skin each night for a refreshing skin. 

• Alternatively, in about half a cup of water add one teaspoon of glycerin, one tablespoon cold-pressed vegetable oil (for example, almond oil, sesame oil, apricot oil etc.) and cool the mixture in a refrigerator. You can also add a few drops of essential oils in the mixture. Apply it regularly using a cotton pad. 

Anti-Ageing Pack

• Add one teaspoon each of honey and glycerin to a beaten egg (with froth), and slather the mixture on the face using upward circular motion. Let the mixture rest and wash off after 20 mins. 

Anti-Acne Pack

• Fight off the acne with the help of this easy home-made pack. Take a glass of distilled water and add a tablespoon of glycerin, a small quantity of camphor, and half a tablespoon of borax. Mix it till a paste is formed and apply it on the face. As the paste dries, wash it off with cold water.
