Tips For Cleaning Dog Bowls Properly

1. To avoid all sorts of microbial growth, these bowls need to be cleaned in hot soapy water (appx.140 F). Try cleaning it either in a sanitising dishwasher or wear rubber gloves while cleaning with hands.

2. Choose mild, non-toxic detergents for cleaning the bowls. Check the product labels for specifications; hard detergents may rust the bowl.

3. If you wash the bowls using hands, soak the bowl weekly in a 1:50 mixture of bleach and water, for ten minutes.

4. Do not use abrasive sponges for cleaning to avoid scratches.
