Things To Consider Before Buying Acrylic Paints 

Quality

Acrylic paints are available in two grades- Student’s Quality and Artist’s Quality. While the former is ideal for beginners and hobby, the latter is made of expensive pigments of higher quality. Select the one depending on your purpose. 

Permanence

It refers to the ability of the paint to resist gradual fading. While acrylic paints, in general, have a good permanence, the artist grade ones have a longer-lasting quality. 

 Viscosity

Viscosity or colour thickness is another factor to consider. If you are aiming for a buttery and thick consistency, go for heavy body acrylics.
