1. Be A Role Model

When you are at the edge of giving up on trying to explain something to your kids, it is time to try something new. The best way to make your kids do something is by letting them watch you do it. Once your kids watch you doing something, they are encouraged automatically to try it and that eventually becomes a habit. So first things first, you must begin your workout and let your kids watch you do it.

2. Play Some Music While Working Out

While you are beginning to create a work out environment at home, let's not make it a serious chore. Making it a fun activity will stimulate the energy levels and also keep your kids involved. Play some workout music or their favourite songs they know the lyrics to so they can sing along while they workout.

3. Give Away Rewards

Little treats can be encouraging too, plan their favourite dinner or an extra scoop of ice-cream as a reward for them to have followed a workout plan you designed for them. If your child is of the pocket money age then hand over some currency notes to them so they can add them to their piggy bank.

4. Show Them Visible Results

Keeping a record of their weight or height and tracking it on a regular basis can help them understand why a workout is helpful. Make sure you have them involved in this activity and they begin tracking it themselves after a few days of guidance from you. This will encourage them to stick to their daily workout.
