Promate Launches Worlds First 160W GaNFast Universal Travel Adapter TripMate-GaN160

Promate Technologies has announced the launch of the TripMate-GaN160, claimed to be the world's first 160W GaNFast universal travel adapter. Designed for global travellers, remote workers, and digital nomads, the adapter offers high-speed charging capabilities in a compact form.

The TripMate-GaN160 is equipped with next-gen Gallium Nitride (GaNFast) technology, which allows for efficient power delivery while keeping heat and size to a minimum. The adapter features a 140W USB-C Power Delivery (PD) port, two additional USB-C PD ports, a 60W USB-A port, and a universal AC socket with up to 2500W support. According to the company, this enables the adapter to charge multiple high-power devices such as laptops, tablets, and smartphones simultaneously.

The adapter includes interchangeable US, UK, EU, and AU plugs, making it compatible in over 150 countries. It also comes with a multi-protection safety system, which includes a 10A fuse, overcharge protection, short-circuit prevention, and temperature control.

Measuring 60% smaller than conventional adapters, the TripMate-GaN160 is designed to be travel-friendly, featuring a slide-out plug mechanism that fits easily in travel bags. The company states that it is the first travel adapter capable of charging high-performance laptops at full speed, including models like the MacBook Pro 16” (140W), Dell XPS 17 (100W), and gaming laptops with NVIDIA RTX 3080/4080/4090 GPUs.

The Promate TripMate-GaN160 is priced at ₹8,999 and is available exclusively on Amazon.in starting April 10. It is offered in black and supports devices with input ranging from 100V to 240V.
