Akshay Kumar has finally confirmed the release of his upcoming movie Laxmmi Bomb. In a twitter post, the actor announced that the movie will release on November 9, 2020 on streaming platform Disney + Hotstar.

Laxmmi Bomb is the remake of South Indian blockbuster, Muni 2: Kanchana. It also stars Kiara Advani, Sharad Kelkar, Tusshar Kapoor, and Ashwini Kalsekar in important roles. The movie will also mark the Bollywood directorial debut of Raghava Lawerence, who directed the original movie Muni 2: Kanchana.
After Bhool Bhoolaiya, Kumar will be again seen in a horror-comedy movie that is Laxmmi Bomb, but this time in a never-seen-before avatar. He will play the role of a transgender ghost in the movie.
The movie was about to release on May 22, 2020 in theatres, but due to COVID-19, the release was postponed. The movie has been produced by Akshay's Cape Of Good Films, Fox Star Studios, Shabinaa Entertainment, and Tusshar Entertainment House.
