- For oily skin: Mix two tablespoons of multani-mitti in glycerine and water to make a paste. Keep it on your face for 15 minutes and wash it off. Alternatively, prepare a paste of multani mitti and orange juice for your face. Wash it off after a while to have a colour-free skin.
- For normal skin: Take two tablespoons of masoor daal and mix it in one tablespoon of flour. Make a paste by adding rose water and a pinch of haldi. Keep it on your face for 10 minutes and wash it off.
- For dry skin: Mix one tablespoon of soybean flour in milk. Add glycerine and a pinch of sea salt to make a paste. Scrub your face with this paste for 5-8 minutes and wash it off.

- Make a simple hair pack by soaked fenugreek (methi) seeds and four tbsp of curd. Keep it for around minutes and wash off with good shampoo.
- You can also apply egg yolk on your scalp and the post 30 minutes you can wash your hair using a good shampoo.
- You can also apply a mixture of olive oil and honey for deep conditioning and then wash off the mixture using a suitable shampoo.
- Herbal shampoos are also of great use. Soak shikakai, reetha and amla overnight. In the morning, boil the mixture and strain it. Mix mild shampoo into the strained water to remove colours.
- Take 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and mix it in one cup of curd. Apply it on your scalp and keep it for 30 minutes and then wash your hair using a mild shampoo.
- Applying coconut milk can also ensure less hair damage and also helps remove Holi colours easily. You can apply coconut milk on your hair before heading out to play Holi. In case of post-holi ritual, you can apply coconut milk 30minutes to 1 hour prior shampoo and then clean off with a mild shampoo to avoid hair damage.

So make sure to apply a coat of dark nail polish before you step out to celebrate Holi with your friends and family members. Dark nail polish prevents staining of nails and keeps the nails protected.

- Soak your nails in fresh lemon juice for 10 minutes to help remove holi colours from nails.
- Apply transparent nail polish onto your nails and then dunk your fingers into lukewarm water. Then add a few drops of almond oil. This will help remove holi colours slowly without making your nails brittle.
