After Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide, reportedly due to a depression caused by losing multiple film contracts recently, Bollywood has become vocal of an issue that is often otherwise suppressed or not paid much heed to.

Actress Kangana Ranaut, who is known for being vocal about her thoughts, has alleged that Bollywood supports Nepotism and has an unwelcoming attitude towards outsiders. Not just Ranaut, popular singer Sonu Nigam has also raised his voice against some prominent people engaged in the Bollywood music industry. Nigam has said that “there is a Music Mafia in Bollywood," adding that politics going on in Bollywood by Music Mafia can ruin anyone's career.

Nigam, who took to social media to express his thoughts, has also shared a video captioned “laaton ke bhoot baaton se nahi maante, in which the famed singer has shared singer-songwriter Armaan Malik's one and a half year old tweet.

In this tweet Malik has written “If only there was unity in the Indian music industry, would there be any kind of change in the scene. Believe it or not every single musician is unhappy coz they are being curtailed and told what to do rather than being left alone to let their creativity soar.

After showing Malik's tweet, Nigam went ahead and targeted a news publishing house for giving a verdict on one of his statements.

Open and Fearless Accusations

Sonu Nigam also accused T-Series chairman Bhushan Kumar of nepotism in his video. He said “Now I have to take your name, you messed with a wrong person, you forgot the time when you used to visit my house and plead me to work in your album Deewana. You also used to say, brother, please introduce me to Smita Thackeray and Bal Thackeray. Please save me from Abu Salem, he is threatening me, you remember right? Don't you remember these things? I warn you not to mess with me, it's enough. Sonu also threatened Kumar by saying that “if you don't stop messing with me, I will expose you by uploading Marina Kunwar's video on my YouTube channel”.

Reacting to Sonu's video, Kumar's wife Divya Khosla Kumar took to Instagram and wrote some lines against the singer. She wrote ”Sonuji aapko T-series ne break diya… aapko itna aagey badaya… agar aapko itni hi khundas thi Bhushan se toh pehle kyun nahi bole… Aaj publicity ke liye kyon kar rahe ha…. Aapke Pitaji ke khud main itne videos direct kiye jiske liye woh hamesha itna shukar guzar rehte thee…. But some people r thankless #achasiladiyatunemerepyaarka.

Adnan Sami also Slams Music Mafia of Bollywood

After Nigam, singer Adnan Sami also attacked music mafia by accusing music mafia of controlling talented singers. He also criticized the trend of remakes started by the music mafia. In an Instagram post, Sami said,

“The Indian Film and Music Industry seriously needs a ‘Herculean' SHAKE UP. Especially in the context of music, New Singers, Veteran Singers, Music Composers, and Music Producers- who are being exploited to the HILT!! “Fall into the DICTAT or you're OUT”…Why is creativity beyond “CONTROLLED” by those you have no clue about ‘creativity' & are trying to play GOD??

“We have 1.3 Billion people in India by the grace of god- Is all that we have to offer is ‘remakes' & ‘remixes'? For God sake, STOP THIS & allow the truly talented new & veteran artistes BREATH & give you creative peace Musically & Cinematically!!!,” he wrote.

“Have you, the Movie & Music ‘Mafia' who have arrogantly entitled yourselves as the ‘self professed & self appointed gods‘ not learned anything from history that you can NEVER control art & the ecosystem of creativity of any field?

ENOUGH!! MOVE OVER!! ‘CHANGE' is here & it's knocking on your door!! Ready or Not, it‘s coming in! Brace yourselves!”

“As Abraham Lincoln said - ‘You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time!!,”

Chinai wrote "The Movie n Music Industry in India is a Toxic Place.... !!!! The Movie n Music Mafia want to try n control you with fear n power... Work Ethics n Fair Play are non existent.... Its a Sham n Damn Rip off... Instead of Revering n Respecting the Artist who feeds them they roll you over with fraudulent contracts n boycott you if you don't massage their misplaced Egos or succumb to their pressure n play the game their way ... !!!! It's the main reason why the music n the movies have crashed... its a Karma Reset."
