Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan who is popularly known as Salman Khan is an actor, producer, singer and a television personality. Salman Khan has received numerous awards in his film career of over thirty years which includes two National Film Awards as a film producer and two Filmfare Awards for acting. He is one of the most actors of Bollywood industry who has huge fan following in all over the world and is cited as one of the most commercially successful actors.
Born on 27th December 1965, Salman Khan has come a long way, in his career as an actor. He made a debut in film Biwi Ho to Aisi as a supporting actor released in 1988. He played his first leading role as an actor in movie Maine Pyar Kiya released in 1989.
Salman also ruled the era of 90's by giving up blockbuster movies like Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! (1994), Karan Arjun (1995), Biwi No.1 (1999), and Hum Saath-Saath Hain (1999). Khan achieved greater stardom in the 2010s by playing the lead role in successful films Dabangg (2010), Ready (2011), Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Kick (2014), Sultan (2016) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017).
