Alia Bhatt joins Gucci As The First Indian Global ambassador For Its New Gender Equality Campaign

Actor Alia Bhatt seems is unstoppable for all the good reasons and this time Alia Bhatt was appointed as the first Indian Global ambassador of the popular Italian high-end luxury brand, Gucci. Alia Bhatt becomes the first Indian to represent the brand.

The 30-year-old actor has now joined a few activists and artists from across the globe for a special video for the brand. Alia, along with other popular stars like Julia Roberts, Serena Williams, Julia Garner, Halle Bailey, John Legend, Salma Hayek, Ayaka Miyoshi, Jodie Turner-Smith, Idris Elba, and a few others was seen in a video, which is a ‘global initiative for gender equality'.

Taking to Twitter, Alia Bhatt dropped a video in which she is seen speaking out for gender equality alongside with other stars. The actors talked about freedom, education, strength, opportunity and dignity in the clip.

Alia captioned the post, "Excited to be chiming in for Gucci Chime's 10th Anniversary Campaign!#GucciChimeForGenderEquality #ChimeIn @gucci

Alia's presence along with renowned international stars garnered praise from the fans.

"Woaaah... Alia goes global," a social media user commented.

"Super proud," another one wrote.

Alia shared on her Instagram handle, "I'm honored to represent the house of Gucci not only in India but at a global stage. Gucci's legacy has always inspired and intrigued me and I'm looking forward to the many sartorial milestones we create together."

Alia's Met Gala Debut

The 'Raazi' star also made her Met Gala debut in the month of May and hit the iconic red carpet in a dreamy white pearl embellished gown designed by, famous fashion designer Prabal Gurung. This year's theme was 'Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty', based on the new Costume Institute exhibition exploring the work of the iconic designer. Lagerfeld, who died in 2019 at the age of 85, spent decades creating clothes for Balmain, Patou, Chloe, Fendi and Chanel in addition to his own namesake label.

Alia teamed the gown with embellished gloves, matching diamond earrings and rings. For the glam, she opted for a centre-parted half-tied ponytail, high heels, subtle smoky eye shadow, kohl-lined eyes, nude lip shade, and a dewy base.

Alia Bhatt is will next seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani with Ranveer Singh which is scheduled to release on 28 July 2023. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani first look posters were unveiled Karan Johar's birthday. She will be seen in her Hollywood debut this year in August 2023 with Heart of Stone alongside 'Wonder Woman' actor Gal Gadot. Alia Bhatt is also working on has Jee Le Zaraa with Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif and Ishaan Khattar which is helmed by Farhan Akhtar.
